Avalone is an oversized A-line dress in thick beige velvet, made in France, very soft. An opening reveals a pleated black satin in the back. Sleeveless, high neck, Avalone is adorned with the tribal Volrose motif, embroidered appliqué in bright red acetate. Sewn against the grain, velvet literally absorbs light, like a stage costume.
